🏅 For Group Leaders

Prove your impact,
not just your training.

MindfulCertify provides an affordable, evidence-based pathway to demonstrate that the mindfulness groups you lead truly help people. Build your evidence portfolio with real participant outcomes.

The evidence-certified practitioner pathway

Four stages, built to work the same way across every MBI modality — not specific to any one center's curriculum.

Prerequisites

Course, practice

→
Foundational

Training intensive

→
Level 1

Qualified Leader

→
Level 2

Evidence-certified

Level 2+

Evidence-certified +

  • Prerequisites — completed an 8-week course in the modality (or a related one) and maintained at least 6 months of personal practice.
  • Foundational training — completed a 36–40 hour initial intensive training in the modality.
  • Level 1 — qualified leader — co-lead 2 MBI groups with mentor review of each.
  • Level 2 — evidence-certified — reached ≥40 participants with pre/post outcome data at d ≥ 0.45 across your program's core scales.
  • Level 2+ — evidence-certified, dual-recognized — evidence-certified status reached in addition to a recognized external certification (e.g., from another respected training center).

📖 Already have a published, peer-reviewed study where you personally led or co-led the intervention groups - as an MBI's developer, or on a clinical trial? You can apply for Research-Certified status instead of collecting new data - submit it from your pathway page once registered.

Your path to evidence certification

Step 1

Upload Credentials

Document your training, certifications, and trauma-informed delivery credentials for each MBI modality you offer.

Step 2

Create Cohorts

Set up 8-week group programs under any MBI curriculum (MBCT, MBSR, MBRP, MBCP, MBC, MSC, etc.).

Step 3

Register Participants

Add participants by email or by code for clinical groups. Surveys are sent automatically before and after the program.

Step 4

Automated Surveys

Validated pre/post surveys measure your program's core outcome domains - typically depression, anxiety, stress, self-compassion, or interoceptive awareness.

Step 5

Track Your Impact

Cohen's d effect sizes are calculated in real time. Watch your evidence portfolio grow.

Step 6

Earn Certification

Reach ≥40 participants with d ≥ 0.45 across your program's core scales to become evidence-certified.

Certification criteria

Required threshold

  • ✓Minimum 40 participants with completed pre/post data
  • ✓Cohen's d ≥ 0.45 across your program's core scales
  • ✓Administrator review of credentials and evidence
  • ✓Documentation of trauma-informed training

Core scales, set per program

Not every outcome domain fits every modality equally well, so instead of one fixed list, each program's core scales are chosen based on the strongest evidence for that specific intervention - drawn from a shared, growing pool:

  • •Depression (PHQ-8)
  • •Anxiety (GAD-7)
  • •Stress (PSS-10)
  • •Self-Compassion (SCS-SF)
  • •Interoceptive Awareness (MAIA-2)
  • •Emotion Dysregulation (DERS-16)
  • •Self-Critical Rumination (SCRS)

Lead more than one program? Any scale your programs share pools your evidence across all of them - depression measured in your MBSR group counts toward your MBCT certification too, so running multiple modalities builds evidence faster, not slower.
